Experienced SharePoint

We are seeking an experienced Technical Consultant (SharePoint & Drupal) Developer to join our team and support a high-visibility office within the Department of Health and Human Services, ASPR. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SharePoint and Drupal, UI/UX best practices, Section 508 compliance, and the U.S. Web Design System (U.S. WDS).

The role involves developing and supporting SharePoint (version 16+) and transitioning to Drupal (version 10+), ensuring responsive, Section 508 compliant UI/UX. Additionally, the developer will design and implement interactive web content following current UI/UX best practices and U.S. WDS standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain SharePoint and Drupal solutions, ensuring seamless integration and user experience.
• Design and implement data visualizations, charts, and infographics, compliant with 508/WCAG 2.0, functional on desktop and mobile.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop database-driven products, APIs, and complex web artifacts.
• Leverage knowledge of Tableau and other visualization tools to create engaging data visualizations.
• Apply expertise in PHP, SQL, jQuery, JSON, ASP.NET, HTML5, CSS, and Java to develop robust web applications.
Requirements:

Experience:
• 10+ years of relevant experience in software development.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality web applications, databases, and APIs.
• Expertise in SharePoint and Drupal (10+), PHP, SQL, jQuery, JSON, ASP.NET, HTML5, CSS, and Java.
• Experience with database integration (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, Section 508 compliance, and the U.S. Web Design System (U.S. WDS).
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
